A fabulous new 1930s inspired blouse to pair with our increasing range of 1930s repro separates.
This beautiful blouse design has been inspired by photographs and original vintage patterns from the 1930s. It is part of our new improved 1930s separates range and has a 'sailor style' feel to it and is a sultry little number!
This blouse has a flattering wide shawl neckline in soft coral which becomes a knotted tie at the centre front, with a button and loop at the back. Made in our signature rayon crepe in lovely vintage colour we call 'Antique Cream' - and has bust darts for some shape but has mainly been designed to tuck into natural waisted skirts and trousers - typical styling from the 1930s.

The blouse I received is not as pictured. The cut is entirely different. The cut of the collar and tie in particular are not as pictured and the edges aren't properly finished, just serged. It looks like a cheap, lazy knock-off. Not at all up to HoF's usual standards. I will be returning.

But you're right, the finishing of the edges, do not meet our usual Foxy standards at all!

I absolutely love this. It fits and drapes beautifully, and is long enough to tuck in but not so long that it ends up looking bulky. I really love the colour, and it’s very versatile- it goes beautifully with my whirlaway skirt and also with swing pants.
I got this for a cosplay but Ive worn it several times since and I love it. It makes me feel beautiful and its perfect for those who love vintage fashion
Love this fabric, and love the design, too! Be aware that if you have a smaller bust, this neckline will sit fairly low—I have to keep pulling it back on my shoulders so you can't see my bra. The edges are also serged instead of finished properly—I'm looking to get some bias tape to hide that and add a little visual interest. A lovely design, though!

a perfect summer blouse that will get a lot of wear
This is a very pretty blouse, it drapes well and looks cute with both trousers and skirts. The fabric is sheer, as mentioned above, but I already wear camisoles under all my blouses so it doesn't make much of a difference to me. The georgette is also a bit scratchy, so if you're sensitive to texture be aware.
I think the description of the fabric as being slightly sheer is not quite accurate. I would put it as more very sheer. I am not a fan of visible underwear so I will have to purchase a lightweight chemise to wear under it. Having said that, the design is lovely and the pattern is wonderful. I just wish the fabric was a little more dense.
